us during Turtle Season for viewing migrating turtles and participating
in the turtle release program with Grupo Ecologistas during the
months of late June through September. Help nature by assisting
the volunteers release turtle hatchlings and watch the Sea Turtles
come ashore and lay eggs. A fascinating, hands-on program taking
place in Boca del Naranja just a short 15 minutes away. Share
cocktail hour on the beach at the nesting site and listen to a
narrative explanation of migratory processes.
Excellent Restaurants and shopping in Rincon de Guayabitos are
just a short distance away as well as water sports, parasailing,
boat cruises and whale/shark watching, horseback riding, fishing
tours. And, if that’s not enough, put on your dancing shoes
and hit the Discos after dark!
Restaurants offer authentic Italian, Japanese, traditional American
fare and modern Mexican cuisine. Rich in Mexican flavor, beach
restaurants serve ice cold beer, tropical drinks and seafood caught
by local fisherman.
Shoppers have a variety of things to choose from, everything
from T-Shirts to handcrafted artwork from native Huichol Indians.

La Penita just 5 minutes away.
